Mason A. Meyer, Esq.
Mason started working part time with Theron A. Foote in 2011 while finishing law school. He was admited to the New York State Bar in 2013 and became a partner in 2017. The focus of Mason's legal practice has been in the areas of real estate transactions, business formation, business succession planning, wills and estate planning, as well as estate administration. An integral part of his practice is representing local businesses and farms in our agriculural community navigate the various business transactions they encounter. In addition, Mason practices in the areas of collections, landlord tenant, and foreclosures of both mortgages and delinquent real property tax liens.
He was born and raised in Wyoming County and spent most of his childhood working on his family's dairy farm, pictured above; he continues to assist on the farm today. His knowledge and commitment to the agricultural industry allows him to represent farms and other agricultural related businesses in an insightful way.
Mason has a deep connection to his local community where he volunteers with the local fire company as a fire fighter, EMT, and a past assistant chief and chief. Mason is a past president of the Wyoming County Bar Association and has previously been involved with New York State's High School Mock Trial Program both as an attorney advisor and as the Wyoming County Coordinator for the program.
